How ZAD protects learner and order information
ZAD Foundation Tanzania collects information needed to provide Islamic education programs, face-to-face program registration, downloadable materials, learner accounts, enquiries, payment verification and support.
Information we collect
We may collect full name, username, year of birth, gender, nationality, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, city, program selections, order history, payment method, submitted payment references, enquiry messages, profile details and technical security data such as IP-based rate-limit records.
How we use information
Information is used to create and secure learner accounts, process program requests, verify payments, provide access to materials, communicate schedules, answer enquiries, maintain records, prevent fraud, improve services and comply with legal or operational obligations.
Payments and fraud prevention
ZAD does not store card numbers. Payment references are used only to verify program requests. Suspicious or repeated submissions may be blocked, reviewed or rejected to protect learners, staff and Foundation records.
Security safeguards
The system uses password hashing, CSRF protection, secure session cookies, login throttling, permission-based staff access, security headers, transaction tokens and database indexes designed to keep the service stable under normal multi-user traffic.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell learner information. Data may be shared only with authorised staff, payment or hosting providers where required for service delivery, legal compliance or security. Records are retained only as long as needed for education, finance, support and compliance purposes.
Your choices
You may request access, correction or deletion of eligible personal information by contacting info@zadtz.org. Some order and payment records may need to be retained for accounting or compliance.
